Our Garden

A small camping field to pitch your own tents. In the grounds of a chocolate box thatched cottage. We are 4 miles from the best beach around here, in the midst of fantastic countryside, an area of outstanding natural beauty next to woods and conservation areas . The seaside towns of Sheringham and Cromer are 10 minutes away with a 40 min drive to Norwich. We are surrounded by fields, wildlife, walks and country estates, with the popular town of Holt close by. We do not provide any tents, you will need to bring your own tents. You will have a beautiful field surrounded by woodland to yourself and your bubble, a compost toilet, hot gas shower, solar water washing up sink and a marble sink overlooking the field to wash and clean your teeth. We also have a huge (uncovered) 8.5 meter tipi structure, covered in twinkly lights which has a fire pit, and seats to sit around the fire and chat, laugh, drink and make merry with your people. The costs are £90 per night for the whole field a maximum of 3 tents and 12 people. Maximum of 3 cars due to limited parking, any additional cars can park at the village hall, cost will be £25 per car which will go toward the upkeep of our village. Dogs welcome at £2.50/night (must be on leads). Cream teas available at £5 per head. There is limited parking (3 cars) opposite our house and a short walk through the garden into 'Our Garden'. If there is anything else you need, please let us know and we will try to help. We live in the midst of a small hamlet, population 40, it is very lovely here , however we do expect our campers to respect each other and the village by keeping the noise down - we have a policy of no amplified music. There is a pub up the road at Roman camps and plenty of restaurants, cafe's and other amenities in Sheringham and Cromer just 3 - 5 miles away There is fantastic walking and cycling paths around us, you will need a car or motorbike to get here or you can take the train to Sheringham and get a taxi (approx £8). There is a bicycle shop in Sheringham that you can hire a bicycle from. Walk to Sheringham approx 30 - 40 mins, cycle approx 10 mins, car 5mins We have a fridge freezer to keep your food in.
