Vineyard Cottages or Zidanice in Slovene are charming houses built in the vineyards on picturesque hills. In the old days vineyard master used Zidanica to store wine and to host his closest friends. Today they are available for you to experience the Slovenian countryside. Every vineyard cottage has to have a wine cellar and cottage Krivic is no different. All guests receive the keys of the cellar and can taste our local wines during their stay. We greet every guest with our own wine, local meat products and other home-made specialities. We can take you on a short sightseeing trip and show you some of the local landmarks: Ossuary of St. Michael and the remains of the Gorenje Mokronog Castle, local dairy farm where you can buy home-made cheeses or a beautiful secluded river meadow with a waterfall. Visit us in autumn and help us during grape harvest season. We will show you the process of making wine and perhaps you can become a true vineyard cottage master. Vineyard Cottage Krivic is located on quiet and peaceful vineyard hill in Dolenjska region countryside. Cottage Krivic is surrounded by vineyards, meadows, forests and other vineyard cottages with a marvellous view on surrounding hills of Dolenjska. Dolenjska is a region of lush green hills, scattered vineyards and vineyard cottages, castles and churches. You can visit numerous archaeological sites, quality thermal spas and try the special local wine Cviček. We charge 20 EUR supplement for pets per stay.
