We are located at the doors of Brussels but at the same time in the heart of a beautiful nature! At 500 meters from our house is the famous Hallerbos – ‘The Blue Forest’ – (an ancient forest with young trees and lots of bluebells) is the most important and most extensive forest area between Zenne and Zoniën. The forest is a crowd favourite thanks to the beautiful purple carpet of bluebells, which bloom around mid-April. The giant Sequoia trees also make a visit to this forest more than worth it. 1km far from highways to Brussels (Ring & E19), Paris/Mons/Charleroi, Namur, Liège, Oostende. 5km far from Wauthier-Braine/Braine l'Alleud Industrials parks. 10km far from Waterloo & its shopping street, cinema, restaurants and famous historical battle fields/museums and Lion of Waterloo. 15km far from Nivelles & from Brussels. Ideally located between our 2 airports (Zaventem & Brussels South Charleroi) -40km- Down the street is a bus stop heading towards Braine-l'Alleud (and the train station), or Waterloo. “Manoir au Bois” is a very much family home, not just a rental house, so you’ll find the house is very well equipped with everything that you could possibly need, feel free to use it.
