The Coach House

The grade II listed Coach House is in the grounds of The Old Rectory and was renovated in 2016 to provide accommodation for up to six people, with a light and airy feel, generously sized rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, garden access and use of the hard tennis court on request. The property is surrounded by beautiful open countryside yet is ideally situated to get to Cambridge, London, Peterborough, Milton Keynes and Bedford all within an hour. Basic provisions such as tea, coffee and milk are included, and a selection of other food items are available should you require. A suitable payment in the honesty box for anything used would be appreciated. Guests have exclusive access to The Coach House and the semi enclosed garden immediately surrounding it. The rest of the garden is for the private use of the owner and their two spaniels. Use of a tennis court within the main garden is available to guests on request. The owners live in the main house and are available at most times should they be needed. The village is very small and quiet surrounded by mainly arable farmland with a good selection of footpaths and bridleways. St Neots and Buckden are a short drive away and are both well served with shops, pubs and restaurants. The Coach House has easy access to Cambridge, Bedford and Milton Keynes, and the mainline rail station in St Neots has hourly trains to London taking 40 minutes. The property is within walking and cycling distance of Grafham Water with a national cycling route passing through the village. Guests staying with children should be aware there are ponds within the grounds so care should be taken to supervise children as these are not fenced and the gardens are not fully enclosed. Parents should also be aware that the 1st floor windows are not childproof.
