A light & spacious king or twin bed room with en-suite shower room, private toilet, work space and kitchenette. The de-luxe room is on the ground floor of our home on a quite residential road in Beaconsfield. Perfect for NFTS, Chilterns AONB & London. Heathrow 30min, London 30 by train, Station 15min walk, chiltern hills 10min drive. A warm welcome awaits guests. We enjoy meeting people & are happy to interact, but guests have their own entrance & can be sociable or private as they wish. The room - King size bed with mattress topper - Down duvet and hotel quality bed linen - Option for bed to be split into two singles - Smart TV with Amazon Prime - Ample storage and relaxation area - Work desk and chair - En-suite shower room with rainfall shower - Heated towel rail, sink, mirror, shaver point - Luxurious toiletries and towels - Toilet is separate and just across the corridor. Access and security - Private, through a side gate and door - Room can be locked - Key safe in-case arrival is when we are out Other facilities - Complimentary hot drinks available 24/7 - Iron and laundry facilities available - Kitchenette with independent cooking facilities - fridge, induction hob, microwave - Attractive garden and patio Meals - Breakfast of fruit and cereals included - Cooked or Continental breakfast extra - Evening meal extra. - Option to eat with us if timings suit. You have your own space with relaxation, study and cooking facilities. Access is independent. When we are at home we welcome interaction with guests. We do access your kitchenette to use the freezer and washing machine. We love meeting people and would be delighted to interact with guests and advise on local things to do or assist with arrangements and answer general question. Alternatively we are more than happy if people wish to keep to themselves. We live in a fairly exclusive quiet residential road. There is off street parking, please do park on the drive. The National Film and Theatre School is a 15 minute walk away. Beaconsfield Old Town is a very picturesque old market town with a large selection of pubs and restaurants including the glamorous and slightly eccentric Crazy Bear Hotel, a Pizza Express and Brasserie Blanc to name a few. Beaconsfield New Town has the station (London - Oxford), an excellent range of cafes, restaurants and shops along with an M&S food store, Waitrose and Sainsburys. We are in the Chilterns so local walking opportunities abound. There are endless other possibilities for visits within a short drive or train ride - - Central London - - Station a 15 min walk then 30 min on train - - Windsor and Eton 35 min driv (Website hidden by Airbnb) There is much to see here including the castle, the Thames, the school, shops and restaurants - - Cliveden 10 min driv (Website hidden by Airbnb) stunning National Trust property, one of our favorite places to visit. Heathrow is a 20 minute drive away. The M40 is close by which gives easy access to the M25. We can offer a Heathrow collection or drop off service at an extra charge. Deborah runs Pilates classes from a studio in the garden. We love the Chilterns and if diaries allow we are happy to arrange guided walks to some of our favorite spots.
