Up to 4 people can stay in two atmospheric gypsy wagons in the yard of a monumental Frisian farm. Experience the peace and quiet of the countryside in this unique place, with the bustling, cultural center of Leeuwarden only 15 minutes by bike! The private garden offers a view over the countryside and the skyline of the city and you are equipped with every luxury in your spacious, private kitchen and bathroom. The bus stop and the supermarket are around the corner. Welcome! When booking, you have 2 attractive, bohemian gypsy wagons at your disposal. The large car is equipped with a double bed (120X210), a sitting area with comfortable armchairs, a TV with radio, an electric heater, a kitchenette with cold water, a Nespresso machine and a mini-fridge. The small car can be arranged as a sitting area or a double bed (140X200). The cars are situated on your own private property with a large dining area and a lounge terrace with a view over the countryside and the skyline of Leeuwarden. The accommodation includes a fully equipped, luxury private kitchen and shower & toilet, with Quooker, oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave. The kitchen, shower & toilet are therefore private to you and therefore not shared with others. The property includes 4 bicycles On cooler days, turn on the electric heater in the car for pleasant warmth. The accommodation is easily accessible by bicycle, car and public transport (bus line 95 or 28). Parking is free on site next to your accommodation. 2 bicycles are included with the property. We can always be reached easily by phone or via the app for questions and since we live in the farm on the property, we can be of service quickly. Enjoy the panoramic view over the farmlands of the old Middelsee area! Located in the historic hamlet called Barrahus, just 3 km south of Leeuwarden. Watch the hares, buzzards and more from the hammock. Various bird, insect and bat boxes have been hung in and around the farm to lend nature a helping hand and, above all, to enjoy it. There are 4 bicycles included with the accommodation, but you can of course also put on your walking shoes and go out. There are beautiful cycling and walking routes in the area. A car tour along the 11 fountains or enjoy a nice culture in the city is of course also possible. The accommodation is easily accessible by bicycle, car or public transport (bus line 95 or 28). Parking is free in the yard, next to your accommodation. Our accommodation bears the name of our Bengal cats "Jacky & Wolf" who you may see scurrying around the farm during your stay ;-) Our location is centrally located near roads and is close to Leeuwarden. The city center can therefore easily be reached within fifteen minutes by bike. But of course also by car or bus. The parking facilities in the town are good and the bus stop is 150 meters from the farm. You can easily reach the roads by car and you can explore the provinces excellently by, for example, driving the fountains route. 4 bicycles are included with the property.
