One of Britain's most impressive stately homes is in the heart of Sevenoaks: the National Trust property of Knole situated in a 1000-acre park dotted with gnarled trees and herds of deer. All around Sevenoaks are more must-see sights. Discover National Trust-run properties at Chartwell, the family home of Winston Churchill; Quebec House, residence of 18th century soldier, General James Wolfe; and Emmetts Garden, with its profusion of roses, shrubs, and bluebells in spring. Sevenoaks has a mix of independent and chain shops, and lots of great places to eat and drink. 3-4 minutes walk to Sevenoaks Train station (approx 400m) which has regular fast trains to London Bridge (22 mins), Cannon Street (35 mins) and Charing Cross (36 mins). 8-10 minutes walk into Sevenoaks town for shops, restaurants and local cinema. We have a garage with electronic door for secure off street parking and room for 3-4 cars in the private drive.
