Lovely studio next to Poros Town Hall

Traditional house, located in the heart of the old town of Poros, in a picturesque alley, 80 meters away from Town Hall square. Built in 1870, it is fully restored maintaining its original character. You will be accommodated in the ground floor residence. Spatious, luminous, airy. Easy to access, no stair climbing, only one step in main entrance. Designed for use all around the year. Suitable for couples, families and solo travelers. I love it and I hope you will love it, too! It is a one space studio with bathroom. There is a sitting area with sofas, a fireplace and a well-tuned piano, which you are welcomed to use. A sofa bed and a single bed are located there. Besides air-condition which can be used for heating/cooling, there is a ceiling fan. A comfortable double bed is located in the sleeping area. You can find linen, towels, extra blankets and pillows to use in the furniture in the foot of the bed. Through the window, you view and smell a lovely kumquat tree in the garden opposite. A fully equipped kitchenette with a marble sink, fridge, microwave, a liquefied gas/electric stove and oven and a kitchen hood. Barbecue grill is out of use. Cooking appliances, a small coffee pot and dinnerware are provided. You may enjoy your meals either inside or outside the house, using the coffee table and chairs. There is one garbage bin for containers to be recycled and one for the rest. Municipal blue-colored garbage bins located on the main street are used for the collection of containers to be recycled. Green colored ones located either on the main street or inland are used for the collection of all other. The bathroom is fully renovated with a bath tub and a washing machine, without a softener function. The small cabinet contains the pharmacy and toilet paper. There is a hair dryer on top of the washing machine.Iron and iron board are provided. There is a boiler for hot water and it is turned on by a switch with the corresponding indication in the electrical board. The space above the bathroom is not for use. You may use the open inner courtyard at the left of the main entrance for your laundry. We provide you logs, and fire starters if you feel like relaxing in the cozy area in front of the fireplace. We will give you directions, if you ask so, where you can find them. Neighborhood is tranquil and absolutely safe. In a few meters away, the island’s day and night life is unfolding. Coffee shops and bars, restaurants, the main market with grocery stores and fishmongers can be found next to the square, in less than two minutes walking distance. You just cross the main street and you find yourself on the marine, the bus stop and the boats to and fro Peloponnese mainland. The island of Poros is reached either by sea or by road. There are hydrofoil ship (journey lasts approximately 1 hour) or ferry boats (journey lasts almost 2 ½ hours) from Piraeus central port. Alternatively, you reach Galatas village, opposite from Poros, in Peloponnese mainland driving by car or by taxi. Journey lasts 2 ½ hours. Boats or ferry boat transfer you and/or your car to the island in less than 2 minutes. You wander around the island by bus, taxi, car, bicycle, boat or on foot. Closest beach is just 1.2km away.
