Set within the Goodwood Estate and only a 20 minute walk to the Goodwood Hotel, with 2 golf courses, Angel Cottage has 2 double bedrooms and bathroom on the first floor, both with TVs'. The ground floor single bedroom has an en-suite wet room and access to the utility room, with washing machine & tumble dryer. The cottage has been tastefully decorated and furnished and the lounge having Sky HD and Netflix, together with fibre broadband. The cottage is dog friendly, with an enclosed garden and 2 dogs are welcome to stay free of charge. We welcome families with children and provide a selection of board games for family entertainment, Sky TV, Netflix and fibre broadband for all the busy phone users. We have 2 parking spaces at the rear, together with a lovely conservatory facing the rear patio and garden. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, Dualit toaster/kettle and a Nespresso coffee machine. The village shop is immediately across the road, selling a wide variety of fresh foods and provisions. A selection of breakfast cereals, milk, teas, coffee, Nespresso pods and sugar are left in the kitchen for your convenience. The cottage was originally built around 1850 for workers of the Goodwood Estate and has now been sympathetically renovated, extended and furnished to make what we hope you will agree is a lovely place to relax and spend a few days exploring the area. All areas of the house and garden are for guest use only. We live 10 minutes away from the cottage and are always available should you have any questions about services in the house. Keys will be left in a safe box for you on arrival. We are surrounded by woodlands and countryside for fabulous walks. Next door is Boxgrove Priory, an ancient ruin now and Tinwood Vineyard producing fabulous English wines, with guided tours is only a mile away. Chichester town centre, great beaches such as West Wittering and of course the Goodwood Estate with motor racing, horse racing, golf courses and restaurants are within easy reach. Pagham Harbour nearby is a glorious and peaceful nature reserve and one of the few undeveloped stretches of the Sussex coast. This sheltered inlet is an internationally important wetland site for wildlife. We also have a wonderful village shop immediately across the road, offering fresh local provisions and newspapers.
