“Little Frog Hollow” Relax and Explore...

Country hideaway - Oak Framed Guest Annex with an open plan living area (with super comfy double sofa bed) and mezzanine with double bed. 5 mins from the beautiful and historic town of Lewes. We are on the edge of the South Downs National Park and close to Glyndebourne Opera House. Great country walks locally including access to the South Downs Way. Brighton is a mere 15-20 mins drive away. Plenty of things to do and see or great place for relaxation! Explore Sussex from here... Beautiful oak framed annex in grounds of an old barn, where we live. The property overlooks our garden and benefits from views through to open fields. We have a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, fridge and oven (no freezer though, but we can give you access to one). There is a double bed on the mezzanine level (NB. the ceiling height is a little restricted as it is vaulted). There is also a very comfortable sofa bed in the main lounge area. Guests are very welcome to relax in the garden outside Little Frog Hollow. There is a patio with a bistro set and two lounge chairs for guest use. The swimming pool is not for guest use, I am so sorry. The garden play equipment is private but we are happy for you to use them as long as children are FULLY SUPERVISED at all times. Little Frog Hollow is located on the outskirts of Barcombe Village and very close to the County Town of Lewes, which is full of fascinating historic town walks. We are one of only a couple of houses in close proximity, so we have no neighbour noise. Apart from the odd combine harvester or tractor in the fields! We are very close to Brighton, which can be reached by car, train or bus from Lewes. Arriving by car is highly advisable as the property is off the beaten track. There is however an infrequent bus service nearby. This building is self contained and should have everything you need for a perfect stay in the countryside, but please feel free to ask us for anything you need. We respond quickly to make sure you have everything you need for a super comfortable stay. We are delighted to assist where we can. The TV has a fully installed external aerial so it has a good signal. It also has internet TV and access to Netflix and BBC iPlayer (own accounts required). There is a full bathroom with a walk in shower (please note that this is not a power shower). We do not have a bath. We provide plenty of tea, coffee and sugar. You are also provided with a pint of semi-skimmed milk so you can have a cuppa as soon as you arrive! A couple of other sweet treats will be left for you too!
