Very comfortable ,well equipped 4 bedroomed house, sleeps 10 situated by the pond and close to the pub in lovely Norfolk village. Four bedrooms including one with four poster and en-suite shower room, also family bathroom with roll top bath. Spacious lounge with tv, DVD and piano. Dining table seats 10. Small self contained secure garden. Full central heating and log burner. All welcome , Your pets very welcome too. There are lovely dog walks from the house. Covid 19 cleaning regime in place. Self check in. Social distancing respected. For safety of guests the house will be thoroughly cleaned following Covid protocols before your arrival and it will have been disinfected and sanitised . Owners usually live next door so are usually available in person for advice and always available on the telephone. The Old School House started life as a Wesleyan Chapel built 1845,. It became part of village school the early 20th century . It was converted into a 4 bedroomed house on the 90's and is now comfortable well furnished holiday accommodation. It is situated by the pond in the pretty west Norfolk village of Wereham in the heart of the countryside used for the TV series 'Kingdom' with Steven Fry. The House provides good base for visiting many Norfolk attractions. Recommended trips are, Sandringham, Oxborough Hall, Hunstanton, King’s Lynn, Ely, North Norfolk coast , Norwich, Norfolk broads and Cambridge A car is strongly recommended as there is no shop in our small village. Supermarkets are 4 miles away in Downham Market. ( They do deliver to Wereham.). The George and dragon pub opposite is very friendly, serves good food and good beer so is definitely worth a visit.
