The Dairy@Copyhold Cottage, Chilbolton,Stockbridge

The Dairy @ Copyhold is an annex on 2 levels attached to our main home in the beautiful and peaceful village of Chilbolton. Within walking distance of the Test Way and Chilbolton Common it is an ideal location for country walks and cycle rides. Copyhold is close to 3 great pubs, all within walking distance and a 5 minute drive to Stockbridge offering more walks, boutique shopping and great restaurants. We are well located to visit the Cathedral Towns of Winchester, Salisbury and Stonehenge. Our space is set out across 2 levels. The private 'stable style' front door leads to a sizeable living space with sofa, TV, dining table, fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Our space is not designed for cooking but houses a full size fridge, glasses, plates, cutlery, kettle, coffee machine and toaster. There are lots of places that we can recommend for breakfast, lunch and dinner if you wish to eat out. Chilbolton Village stores offer cooked breakfasts in their tea room just 2 minutes walk away when pre-booked. A 6 step staircase leads to a cosy attic style bedroom with a comfortable kingsize bed (we know how important this is!) and shower area. The window has views across our cottage garden. Access to The Dairy is via a key safe. We have a private drive leading to an appointed parking space for our guests. We are well situated for cycling and fishing and can offer secure storage for any equipment if needed. The River Test flowing along Chilbolton Cow Common is 5 minutes walk from Copyhold Cottage. We are in walking distance (in daylight!) of 3 great pubs. Our local pub is just minutes away at anytime of the day. The Test Way is on our doorstep so great for Walkers. Foodies can book an extensive range of restaurants in Stockbridge and Winchester. We are well located to visit the Cathedral towns of Winchester and Salisbury. Car is best, but lots of cycling round here too! You can walk to the local pubs but recommend that the Mayfly and White Lion are during daylight hours. The Abbots Mitre is a 2 minute walk from the house. We have some wonderful walks from our house if you are travelling with your dog. The size of The Dairy restricts us to offering room for one dog only and we do ask you to be respectful of the space to ensure dogs don't jump on furniture and beds etc. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate cats.
