Apple Tree Cottage has character & style in a beautiful Cotswold village that has an award winning pub/rest (the Swan) & Thyme cookery school Apple Tree Cottage is gorgeous self contained accommodation recently refurbished to boutique standards, making it comfortable and stylish, perfect for short or longer breaks! Southrop is one of the prettiest villages in the Cotswolds and perfect for long walks, lazy lunches in the nearby award winning Swan pub or exploring all the great towns, villages and countryside around. Take a lesson at Thyme Cookery school in Southrop or just sample many of the fantastic restaurants in the area. The cottage is self contained adjacent to owner occupied house. Guests will access the cottage by retrieving the key from the safety box by the cottage door. Access code will be sent separately to booked guests before their stay. Always available on the phone and of course if we are home happy to help if need be Southrop is a lovely quiet quintessentially cotswold village, with the River Leach running through it. Ancient Burford and Lechlade are both nearby for exploring with Oxford, Cheltenham and Cirencester all within an easy drive You will need a car to get around; taxis can be booked but need advance planning. Nearest train stations are Swindon, Charlbury and Oxford. The M5, M40 and M4 are all nearby. Heathrow and Birmingham airports are approximately an hour and a half away. Plenty of lovely scenic walks on uncrossed footpaths and areas. Good Wi-fi and suitable for longer stays
