Stay in our unique original TASKER Shepherds Hut that has been sensitively restored to a high standard, accommodating two adults within Norbury Park an area of outstanding natural beauty in the Surrey Hills. Ideal for those who enjoy the outside life - walkers, cyclists and those who may just want to take in the local landscape and SSSI , with many NT properties, Boxhill, Leith Hill, Denbies Vineyard, Surrey Wildlife Trust spaces. Traditional Shepherds Hut, fully insulated with Sheep’s wool, double glazing, reclaimed flooring, mains electric electric with USB ports. Sitting area converts to double bed. All linen provided. Breakfast basket provided. Complimentary tea, coffee, fresh milk provided on arrival. Outside seating area with BBQ and Chiminea.Please note that we do not provide BBQ coals, kindling and logs can be purchased at an additional cost. Guest access . Guest have access to kitchen with Kettle, Toaster and Microwave, shower and toilet in adjacent building . Slip on shoes or wellies may be advisable for ease when it’s wet. Private parking available . Please note that our Shepherds Hut is within our very large garden and the Hut has its own designated outdoor seating area with picnic table available . There is usually someone around in the evenings if you need information or help. There is information sheet to help you enjoy your stay Our village sits between the towns of Dorking and Leatherhead and is mentioned in Jane Austen’s novel Emma . The village has featured prominently in cycling following the loops of Boxhill since the 2012 London Olympics and the London-Surrey Cycle Classic. It has two great pubs (The Running Horses and The King William IV), a historic church as well as many walks from the village. Dorking and Leatherhead town centres providing shopping, a range of eateries and leisure facilities, together with good rail services to London Waterloo , London Bridge and Victoria as well as Gatwick Airport, Guildford and Reading. the M25 Junction 9 is 10 minute drive away. There is also a good Bus Service every 30 minutes . Our location is just off the A24 and close proximity to the rail link between Leatherhead and Dorking. Stations can be found at Boxhill & Westhumble. Dorking and Leatherhead. There are plenty of local walks and cycle routes on offer from easy to the most challenging within Mole Valley. Please note that we are off the A24 and Waterloo train line to Dorking is adjacent to our property . WiFi can be localised due to the Shepherd Huts metal structure which can make it difficult on occasions for WiFi access, although most guests have not found this to be an issue.
