Garden State Cottage

Imagine a beautiful and cosy 100-year-old cottage! We live in one part of the big house and the other part is for rent, which we have renovated completely. The house overlooks an idyllic garden. It's 5 minutes from the local store, grocery, pattiserie, pizzeria and restaurant. The River Danube is 3 minutes from the end of the street. You have the possibility to rent a canoe or kayak, it is worth to exploring the river and the neighborhood. There are a hall, a bathroom, and a spacious and bright room with a kitchen in the rental. Verőce is a marvellous village in the Danube bend. Visitors adore this place and the neighbourhood, too. Must-see things are: - the beautiful sunset at the river - the lake at the other side of the Danube - the view of Nagymaros - cozy and picturesque streets in Zebegény - Visegrád Castle which gives a great view This is perfect neighbourhood for all ages. The train station is 8 minutes away, and the trip takes 35 minutes to Budapest. We are very happy to have you here and honestly hope that you will enjoy your stay. We will do our very best to help you when needed and to ensure you have a fantastic time. Just a few things to be aware of... Kind of our house rules - but as we don't like the word 'rule' too much we would like to ask you the following: - the most important thing: relax and enjoy! Feel yourself at home here. Our mission is to ensure you have a fab visit so if you have any questions, queries we will do our best to find the answer and solution. - check in: 14:00, check out: 10:00 – thank you for your timeliness - if something breaks in the house or in the garden please don't try to fix it yourself. Let us know about it ASAP. - our pets live in the garden, if you bring your dog please keep him/her in the garden too. - the bunnies and cats love attention and care so please feel free to interact with them. Please ensure children are supervised at all times. - the bikes and the kayak/canoe belong to the guesthouse thus you can use these free of charge at your own risk. Please take good care of them.
