The Coach House Granby Farm
The Coach House is a charming listed barn conversion with large living room and wood burning stove. The cottage is situated on our family farm which is surrounded by peaceful countryside and walks from the doorstep. This comfortable home is the perfect base from which to explore everything the Cotswolds has to offer! The accommodation comprises: Living Room, This lovely room has exposed beams, exposed stone and a beautiful fire place with roaring log burning stove. There are modern three seat and two seat sofas with matching arm chair and ottoman. A round dining table which seats five. The television has Netflix, iPlayer, ITV hub and more. The WiFi hub has Alexa built in for music. Kitchen, is well equipped, which includes a range cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and washing machine. There is a pine kitchen table, which comfortably seats four. Cloakroom, Contains a toilet shower and wash basin. Stairs lead up from the hallway to the first floor landing, off which are the following rooms: Bedroom 1, This is a lovely large room with oak double bed, single bed and 2 seater sofa with tea and coffee making facilities. Bedroom 2, Is a comfortable twin room with 2 single beds. Family bathroom, Contains a bath, toilet and wash basin. There is an outdoor courtyard with seating, where guests can enjoy a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Guests are welcome to move the outdoor furniture onto the front lawn or anywhere near the house. The cottage is situated on our family farm. Whilst it’s completely separate from the farmhouse we are close by to offer recommendations for local pubs, restaurants etc if requested by guests. Shipston on Stour is a small traditional country town just 5 minutes drive from the cottage. Shipston maintains a 'foodie' reputation including a butchers, grocery/fishmonger, bakery & specialist delicatessen with a variety of restaurants & pubs offering a large range of cuisines. Shipston on Stour lies in the northern Cotsworld region with many picturesque towns & villages including Stratford Upon Avon. The Cotswolds is a rural location and whilst there is access to public transport, it is highly recommended that you have a car.
