The Roundhouse, Isolation within West Wycombe Park

The Roundhouse is a unique listed brick and flint gate lodge with amazing views over the landscaped gardens of West Wycombe Park. It actually is part rounded, hence its name, and is a delightful cozy secure cottage with an extensive garden. It sleeps 2 (large double room) plus 2 singles in loft area (accessed via a ladder), there is also a sofabed in the lounge area. Dogs are also most welcome at the property in the house and there are also good outdoor kennels. The garden has far reaching views and is westerly facing catching the most beautiful sunsets over West Wycombe Hill. A picnic table and deck chairs are provided. Heating by storage heaters and log burner (logs provided). This lodge is small but has a charming atmosphere and has been delightfully restored. There is a snug sitting room with a log burner opening onto a dining area. The kitchen has an electric cooker, fridge/freezer and a dishwasher and is very well equipped. The bathroom has a bath with shower over. The main bedroom is spacious with a Hypnos king-size bed and views over the garden and fields beyond. Two single beds are provided in the converted loft area via the access ladder. (NB: Not suitable for everyone. Only guests that are able to safely do so should use the ladder). A tennis court is available by prior arrangement. The entire house is private to you! I will be in a house walking distance if you have any queries or questions but the Roundhouse will be private to you! In addition to the general extensive network of public footpaths which lead into open countryside which is all an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, guests have the added benefit of being able to enjoy walks around the amazing National Trust landscaped gardens of West Wycombe Park and lake. If you like fishing this can also be arranged! 15 minute taxi from High Wycombe station. 15 minute taxi from Lewknor stop on the Oxford Tube bus. 1 hour drive from central London Dogs are very welcome and there are some fantastic walks!
