The Cottage in Old Amersham

THE COTTAGE is a well equipped home that sleeps up to 6 guests and is tucked away just off the High Street in the beautiful small historic town of Old Amersham. There's a great choice of restaurants and pubs and a large supermarket all within walking distance. The Cottage has a bus stop a minutes walk away and a 20 minute walk/short drive to the train station (direct service in to London). The Cottage is the perfect space for couples, friends, business travellers, and families. The Cottage is set over two floors and has two short flights of stairs to the second floor. There is a very well equipped kitchen with a dining table, washing machine and dishwasher. The living room has a cosy feel to it; perfect for relaxing on the big, comfy sofa to watch TV, a large dining table to gather friends and family around to eat, a double sofa bed suitable for 2 children/2 smaller adults and a working log burner for those colder months. Upstairs is a double bedroom with kingsize bed, a smaller bedroom with trundle bed (that converts from a single to twins or a double) and a bathroom with bath and overhead shower. There is one parking space with The Cottage and a very pretty private cottage garden with table and chairs. There is plenty of free parking on the High Street a short walk from The Cottage. Check in time is strictly 3pm unless prior arrangements have been made with us. Check out time is strictly 11am unless prior arrangements have been made with us as we have to prepare for the next guests. Sorry no pets allowed, a few irresponsible pet owners have ruined it for everyone! The Cottage is self catering but essentials are provided for your arrival, i.e. coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, toilet roll. If you run out of anything during your stay it is your responsibility to replenish those items. We do not charge extra for cleaning as a lot of other Airbnb hosts do and we know that Airbnb add a considerable fee for guests, so, rather than increase our nightly rate we would appreciate you leaving the cottage as neat and tidy as you find it. If you fill the dishwasher with dirty items please put it on before you leave so things are ready in good time for the next guests. You will have complete privacy during your stay but we are available via mobile/text/ (Hidden by Airbnb) . Old Amersham is lovely to walk around and boasts many good restaurants, pubs and shops. Everything you need is within walking distance including a bus stop and a large supermarket. There is a Church, a park and a play area for children all within walking distance. Amongst many other local attractions, Cliveden National Trust is a short drive and Bicester Shopping Village a 40 minute drive. Bus stop on the high street. 20 minute walk (uphill) to Amersham train station/ 5 minute drive for direct trains to London. Plenty of lovely walks close by or within a short drive. There is one parking space with The Cottage. The parking space is the first space on the right at the rear of the cottage. Free parking is available up and down the High Street.
