Three private rooms in lovely house near Gatwick

Comfortable and spacious Victorian home in a quiet country village. Only 15 minutes from Gatwick, and within a few minutes walk of 3 village pubs, serving excellent food. Please note that this price is for 3 rooms; contact us or see our other listings if you just need 1 or 2 rooms You can leave your car with us while you are away for a fee, and subject to availability. There are many beautiful places to visit nearby. Check-in from 6pm, or earlier by prior arrangement. We have three cats. Our spacious Victorian house has a peaceful garden and lovely views over farmland. There is one large double room on the second floor with shared use of modern bathroom with bath, separate walk in shower, washbasin and wc. The twin/triple room is on the first floor with adjacent shared bathroom with bath with overhead shower, washbasin and wc. The 3rd bedroom is on the mezzanine floor. The room has a king size bed and a standard double sofa bed if needed. When the sofa bed is in use space in the room is limited. If the sofa bed is in use then we can accommodate 9 guests. Bathrooms are available on the 1st and 2nd floor. Shared dining room, kitchen, bathrooms, and use of garden. Guests are welcome to use the outdoor pool when available during summer months. Please note the pool is not heated. You are welcome to use space in fridge, and make use of the kitchen when available, for cooking meals or hot drinks. We can give advice on places to visit in the area, and local walks and cycle rides. The village of Outwood is home to Britain's oldest working windmill; there are two local pubs within walking distance, and beautiful walks to be enjoyed around the village and the surrounding area. The pubs all do good food but please note kitchens close around 9:00pm and are closed on Sunday evenings. Gatwick is 15 minutes away by car and transport can be arranged, subject to availability. Local taxi firms can also provide services. There are many historic houses and beautiful gardens to visit nearby including Chartwell and Hever Castle. Lingfield Racecourse is only 15 minutes drive away, and Brighton can be easily reached by train or car. We are a 10 minutes drive from a train station from where it takes 45 minutes to reach London (Victoria or London Bridge). Public transport to and from the village is very limited and seasonal. There is ample parking on our large driveway; you can leave your car with us while you are away for a small fee, and subject to availability. We have three cats. There is little public transport from the village of Outwood itself. Check-in is 6:00pm or earlier by prior arrangement
