This cosy 2 bedroom thatched cottage is situated in Sheskinarone, just outside the town of Dungloe (2km). It is ideally located for exploring and enjoying this beautiful and scenic part of north west Donegal. You will have the entire cottage + ample parking + outside space all to yourself. Sleeps 5 in two bedrooms, has an open plan living, kitchen and dining area, and a stove with original stone fireplace. This cottage is cosy and comfortable - ideal for couples and small families. Living room - comfortable sofa and armchair which will allow you to relax and unwind in front of original stone fireplace with stove. Kitchen - everything you need for an enjoyable self catering experience....oven, hob, microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, dishwasher Master bedroom - Double bed with ensuite bathroom Twin bedroom - Double bed and single bed. There is a staircase in this room leading to a loft area with 2 small single beds, suitable for children. Bathroom - Electric shower with instant hot water. Towels and soap are provided. Outdoors - ample parking, own private grounds, house is surrounded by open green fields. Guests are welcome to check themselves in and out. Dungloe is a great base if you wish to explore the Wild Atlantic Way. It has numerous good supermarkets, restaurants and pubs. There are many beautiful sandy beaches within a short drive. You can explore a different sandy beach every day of your holiday! One of these beaches at Carrickfinn is located next to Donegal Airport whose landing strip has been voted 2019's most scenic in the world! There are many attractions and amenities within a short drive of the house. Burtonport is a 10 minute drive away where a ferry service provides access to Arranmore Island. Maghery Coastal Adventures(15 mins drive) - provides numerous exciting activities such as Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Kayaking, Snorkeling, Surfing, Hillwalking and Cycling. Cruit Golf Club - 15 mins drive, a 9 hole links course, set on the edge of the wild and rugged Atlantic ocean, there are unrestricted panoramic views that will take your breath away. Errigal Mountain- 25 mins drive, the tallest peak in County Donegal! Dunlewey Centre - 25 mins drive Glenveagh National Park - 35 mins drive Slieve League - 1hr 30 mins Own transport preferable. Taxi services available. Donegal airport is 15 min drive away with flights to Dublin and Glasgow. There is a public road in front of the house therefore children must be supervised at all times. One of the bedrooms has stairs leading to a loft area. This may make it unsuitable for young children.
