Relax in this brand new, luxury barn conversion with views over open fields and Burghley House. This two bed holiday cottage is perfect for either two couples or a family of four. The open plan kitchen living space has a Charnwood log burner and comfy seating for four with dining for up to six. The full width bi-folds make for perfect indoor-outdoor living allowing you to fully appreciate the heavenly surroundings. Flexible bed configurations available, with two bathrooms and cot available. Arriving at Linseed, you will enter the airy, vaulted living space through the bifold doors. We hope that the soothing colours and open plan living, combined with the beautiful views make you feel instantly relaxed. The kitchen is fully equipped with integrated 4 ring induction hob, full height fridge, Lavazza coffee machine, double oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. The dining area can comfortably seat four, with the option to extend the table to seat six people if required. After dinner, unwind and stretch out surrounding the flickering log burner, or open the bi-folds and surround yourself with everything rural living has to offer. If British summer does what it's supposed to do, take advantage of the patio seating and deck chairs whilst stoking up the BBQ. On those colder evenings, rest assured you'll remain cosy with underfloor heating throughout the whole house and outdoor blankets. Smart TVs are located in every room and you can always ask Alexa if you need any music during your stay. The principle bedroom features a Kingsize bed and dual aspect views over open fields. The antique chest of drawers and brass hanging rail give you plenty of space to stow all your belongings. The en-suite bathroom has the benefit of both a full size bath and large walk in rainfall shower. The second bedroom allows flexibility, with either Superking or Twin Bed configuration. The flexibility continues within this room with the opportunity to accommodate wheelchair users. The spacious en-suite bathroom has been designed to allow wheelchair access with no steps and wide opening rainfall shower. A washing machine and tumble dryer are available for guest use in a separate outbuilding. Cot and High Chair are available upon request. Linseed is located at Carr's Lodge Farm and although no longer a working farm, you can enjoy seeing the 6 chickens and 2 geese that live in the fenced paddock within the yard. On-site secure parking is available for two large vehicles at no extra charge. The immediate vicinity is rural, with England's finest stone town, Stamford being less than a five minute drive away. Taxis are readily available, but if you're not wearing heels, it's only a mile's walk away! We like to allow our guests to feel relaxed. We're available if required. Within the immediate vicinity, there are rolling fields with some scenic walks. England's finest stone town, voted best place to live in 2013 and 2017, Stamford is less than a mile away with some wonderful independent shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Even on a dreary day, Stamford's stone buildings, fabulous architecture and the many churches will brighten your day. We recommend using a car or taxi to get out and about. There are some lovely walks from the cottage and it is possible to walk to town but there is a stretch along a main road. There's plenty of parking in Stamford, several options are free but even the paid parking is inexpensive. Children of all ages welcome. Please advise if you require a cot or highchair. Mattress and bottom sheet will be provided, if you require further, please let us know. Linseed is wheel chair accessible although we realise that each guests needs will be different so we strongly advise getting in touch prior to booking. The garden is fully enclosed offering privacy and security.
