Set in rural Pembury yet convenient for A21, Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge it is a quiet and comfortable for a base to explore Kent and Sussex. Through your own front door you have a downstairs fully fitted kitchen and lounge with leather sofa, Freeview TV with DVD. Upstairs is a gorgeous double bedroom with views over adjoining woodland, TV with DVD, wardrobe and chest of drawers. separate new bathroom with shower cubicle. Towels and bedlinen all provided. We live in the main house and are more than happy to help guests with any requests. We will be around during your stay and are friendly and willing to ensure you have a great time. We live in a rural street but only 1 minute from A21 which is a main route south from M25. The village centre is 10 minutes walk and has 2 superb pubs both offering good dining options. There are 3 take away shops offering Fish and Chips, Indian and Chinese cuisine. A short car journey takes you to the local industrial estate which as well as all the usual outlets has a cinema and bowling alley. Tunbridge Wells is 10 minutes by car. The nearest bus stop is 5 minutes walk offering a regular service to Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells. The train station is 15 minutes by car and there is a fast train to London which takes 35minutes into London Bridge/Cannon street. Gatwick Airport is 45 minutes by car. There are plenty of lovely walks from the doorstep and the south downs and Eastbourne area are about 40 minutes drive away. There is plenty of parking spaces at our property. This apartment is available for long weekends and during the school holidays and makes an ideal central base for the South East area. There is plenty of space in the bedroom for a travel cot. We also have a single mattress and bedding which can be added in the bedroom on request.
