This light & airy private first floor flat is perfect for those visiting the local area on business or for pleasure. Parking for one car is available in the courtyard. The Mews Flat with its stripped pine floors has a large & airy open plan kitchen/living area which includes a comfy double sofa bed for a further two people. The large double bedroom has a desk & wardrobe with drawer space. The bathroom has a bathtub with a large over-bath shower. The whole annex is available to guests. The Mews Flat is annexed to our house & I am around most of the time to help with queries & recommendations. The Mews Flat is situated less than a minute’s walk from The George Inn pub which offers both indoor/outdoor eating in its large garden. Also within a minutes walk is a petrol station which has a small mini-market. There is a village shop & post-office in Over Wallop which is less than a 3 minute drive. Five miles away is the beautiful market town of Stockbridge with a plethora of pubs, restaurants & shops. Guests arriving by car will have free parking in the courtyard. There is a bus-stop just down the road with services to Andover, Salisbury & Stockbridge. The railway station at Grateley with hourly services to/from London is 3 miles away & Andover railway station is 7 miles away with trains to London every 30 minutes. The cathedral cities of Winchester & Salisbury are both 12 miles away. Stonehenge is 15 miles away and the beautiful National Trust property, Mottisfont Abbey, is 8 miles away. Please note that the Mews Flat is on the first floor & accessible by its exterior staircase. The flat is available for the private use of guests, but is annexed to the owner’s house and is, at other times, part of the family home. The property has WiFi available, however there can be limited mobile phone reception in the local vicinity. If so, guests usually find better signal 50m up the road.
