The distance from Athens to Eretria is about 100km through the national road “ATHINON -LAMIAS” and you live the national road to the exit of Chalkida. When you reach Chalkida city you just simply follow the direction for the south part of the island and you will reach Eretria. The second way to reach Eretria makes your travel more fascinating. You can reach Eretria through the village of SKALA OROPOY. This village faces the port of the Eretria where you can take a ferry boat and get to the port of Eretria in about 25min. The distance from the airport to Scala Oropou is about 70 km. aprox 50min of driving. There are ferry boats every 30 min. and the travel is about 25 min to reach the opposite side. The cost for the ferry boat is 2 € per person and 6 € for the car (without the driver).
