The house is surrounded with lovely forests and hills and a river. Many walks and bike ridings are possible around. Places of interest such as beautiful mansions and chateaux (eg Champ de Bataille, Beaumesnil), the Normandy Coast (Honfleur, Deauville and the 2nd World War landing beaches) are less than 45 minutes drive. Paris is 1h40 drive from the house. The village of La Ferrière sur Risle is 2km away and offers a typical market on Sunday, as well as a well known flea market every 3rd Sunday of the month.
