The rooms face east/south/west and the apartment boasts a wrap-around rooftop terrace. The building is situated on a quiet side street in the center of the Altenerding district of Erding. Europe’s largest thermal baths (“Therme Erding“) are located in the immediate vicinity (3-5 minutes by car). Erding’s city park is a stone’s throw away (a couple of minutes on foot), and the center of the beautiful town of Erding is a 15-minute walk away. There is also a regular bus service into the center of town; the bus stop is 200 m down the road. You can travel into Munich on the suburban train (S-Bahn; S2), which takes just 45 minutes. The S-Bahn station is a 5 to 7-minute walk away. The trip to Munich Airport takes 15-20 minutes by car. It can also be reached by bus. Munich’s trade fair grounds can be reached by train or car in approximately 30 minutes. If you want to explore all that Bavaria has to offer, you can do so easily from Erding. You can drive to Bavaria’s mountains and lakes (Chiemsee, Tegernsee, Starnberger See) in an hour. The beautiful city of Landshut, where the famous medieval pageant “Landshuter Hochzeit“ (Landshut Wedding) is held every four years, is only 35 km away, and the drive to Regensburg, a World Heritage Site, takes just over an hour.
