Godwick Shepherd's Hut - Norfolk Horn
Schlamping is the new glamping at Godwick Hall. We have three Shepherd Huts tucked into a small glade behind Godwick Hall, each boasting unspoilt views. Close to nature, rustic but with modern ensuite facilities, these are cute and cool. Perfectly constructed our three huts come with some fabulous mod cons and have lovely design features, such as oak wooden floors, butler sinks and a narrow boat wood burners. Hot running water, a mini fridge, microwave, oak work top, loo, shower and of course a lovely double bed. As well as a comfortable night’s sleep, guests in each hut can order a Continental breakfast to be delivered to the hut or with prior arrangement a cooked breakfast served at Godwick Hall. The huts, for a hygiene and health and safety reasons are not designed for cooking, so please do not expect full cooking facilities apart from a microwave. Cars have access down a farm track to the back of each hut where there's a parking bay. It's not manicured land here, so bring sturdy footwear, particularly if its wet weather. The owner and his team are around and about most of the time, so can offer you on site assistance and advice if required. Self check in is normally arranged as we can't guarantee to be available when you arrive but it's all very self explanatory. Breakfast is not included but can be arranged along with other extras, such as fizz on arrival and hire of a BBQ and coals! Come and make the most of our glorious little spot in Norfolk not far from the coast and with loads of things to do! Norfolk has a fantastic array of things to do and see, and that's why the Royals love it so much too. Amazing long sandy beaches of north Norfolk stretch from Brancaster to Wells to Stiffkey to Cley. There's the pretty market town of Fakenham is just 6 miles away and the large Georgian town of Holt 16 miles away for some shopping. There's fabulous and amazing walks and great cycling opportunities in north Norfolk, which the owner can help you with along with recommendations for local pubs and restaurants. Nearest train station is Kings Lynn, 17 miles away. Taxi required to Godwick. Public transport is limited so it is advisable to hire a car. Weekend weddings at Godwick Great Barn could mean there's a wedding party on a Saturday night, which maybe able to be heard at Godwick Hall. It also might mean there's limited accommodation available on Saturday nights. Breakfast is not included but can be arranged and delivered to your hut. If you want a big cooked breakfast then this available in the luxurious Godwick Hall. The kitchenette is small and basic, including only a microwave and a fridge and sink. The huts, for a hygiene and health and safety reasons are not designed for cooking, so please do not expect cooking facilities apart from a microwave.
