La Petite Jeusseliniere Sleeps 3

My place is close to the city center, great views, restaurants and dining, art and culture, and parks. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). La Petite Jeusselinere is our large one bedroom detached former old bakery that was beautifully restored during 2013. The gite has lots of original features including exposed beams, stone walls, wood burner, but also has lots of windows and doors making it light and airy. Whilst it retains its original charming character, it has all the modern comforts you would expect with quality accommodation, there are one large bedrooms with comfortable bed, a bathroom and shower room, large sitting room with private garden with furniture and barbecue overlooking fields - perfect for those warm summer nights chilling with a glass of wine. The kitchen has all the amenities you could need such as oven, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker etc. and a farmhouse table seating 4 - 6. The gite has free WIFI, satellite television and as well as its own private garden with barbecue guests have use of the hectare of grounds, use of the large shared swimming pool and lots of bicycles to use during your stay. Colin & Linda will be on site to welcome you and look after you for the duration of your stay Colin & Linda will be on site to welcome you and look after you for the duration of your stay The local market town of Ernee is approximately 6 miles away and the medieval World Heritage town of Fougéres is 11 miles - both of which have a range of facilities including supermarkets, resaurants, Motocross circuit (Ernee) and lesiure facilities inclusing a large lake and 'beach' in the Fougéres forest. There are many beautiful gardens close by; including Jardin de la Pellerine and the magnificent Parc Botanique de Haute Bretagne. Within easy driving distance are many more historic towns boasting a wealth of castles and ancient buildings to explore, for example a 30 minutes drive will take you to Jublains, Vitré, Mayenne and Laval. An hours drive will take you to Le Mans, Dinan, St.Malo Mont St. Michel, Rennes, D Day memorial sites and Alencon to name but a few. If you fancy a trip to Paris you can take the TGV train from nearby Laval, the journey only takes an hour and a half making it an ideal day trip. We are within easy reach of many ferry ports such as St. Malo, Roscoff, Cherbourg, Caen etc. and an hour away from Rennes airport. Larger airports are only two hours away at Angers and Nantes and trains to Paris only take 1.5 hours from nearby (Website hidden by Airbnb) Jeusseliniére is located in Larchamp, a village in the Mayenne which is in the Pays de la Loire region. Larchamp is in an ideal position from which to explore the Loire, Normandy and Brittany, or simply as a stopover en-route. We are located on the edge of the village of Larchamp with the centre being a 15 minute stroll away where you will find a bakers, bar, restaurant, hairdresser and pretty 14th century church. There are some delightful historical walks around the village and a memorial to the US servicemen who liberated the village from the WWII occupation. Exploring the area...
