Double Room in Private House in Lichfield

Situated on the 2nd floor of our home, our attic room with its sloping ceiling is very cosy. You also have exclusive use of our first floor bathroom to give you privacy. We only have one guest room so you don't need to share our home with other guests. Tea and coffee facilities are available in your room. You have the use of a spacious family dining/living room in which to enjoy breakfast. You can also use the washing machine and dryer during your stay. We are around and available most of the time should you need advice on what to see and where to eat. If there are allergy issues, please bear this in mind and let us know. We live in a quiet cul de sac with direct access onto Lichfield's beautiful Beacon Park. It is a lovely 15 minute walk through the park to Lichfield City Centre with all the amenities you need including restaurants, cafes, pubs and a theatre - Lichfield Garrick. Lichfield also hosts Samuel Johnson's Birthplace Museum and the home of Erasmus Darwin, the grandfather of Charles Darwin. We are also a 10 minute walk from Lichfield's impressive Medieval Cathedral. The city is accessible on foot. Lichfield City Station is a 20 minute walk with regular services to Birmingham. Lichfield Trent Valley station which is a 30 minute walk has regular services to London. We are close to a local bus route to Rugeley and Stafford and there is a Morrisons store 2 minutes from us discretely hidden by trees. For those who like the countryside, South Derbsyshire, Ashbourne and the River Dove are a 40 minute drive away through beautiful countryside. Cannock Chase, an Area of Outstanding National Beauty (ANOB) is on our doorstep.
