Craggley is a beautiful cottage set in the heart of West Burton which is often described as the most picturesque village in the Dales. West Burton has superb amenities including a large village green, pub, tea room, village shop and family butchers - all steps away from magnificent walks! The cottage is tastefully decorated with a large walled garden, stunning views and even a Shepherds Hut to give extra space to relax. Everything you need for a memorable Dales holiday in a beautiful village. Craggley has been awarded a Four Star Gold Award from Visit England and also the specialty awards of Walkers/Cyclists/Families/Pets which really helps Craggley stand out from the crowd. The property is a delightful 2 bedroom cottage with a large double bedroom and a twin, the bathroom has shower/bath and modern finish. The lounge has a Smart TV and a wood burning stove which supplements the central heating which leads to an attractive dining kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need and as with the rest of the cottage has been recently refurbished and beautifully finished to exacting standards with a stable door leading into the gardens. Externally there is rear garden with a seating area leading to a large walled garden with stunning views of Bishopdale and Wensleydale, it really does need seeing as the photographs never quite do it justice. The garden also has a large shed that can be used for storage and is ideal for bikes if you are a planning a cycling holiday and re-creating parts of The Tour de Yorkshire. In the garden we have a Shepherds Hut complete with arm chairs, wine cooler, wood burning stove plus a dining area to spend long summer days or cosy winters nights enjoying superb views down the valley. It also has Broadband Infinity WiFi and a smart TV with a HDMI face plate which can be used for Consoles/Music which ensures it can be enjoyed by adults, children or used as a family. The cottage is packed with everything you need to enjoy your break and we think(hope!) we have covered all eventualities to make it a home from home, this makes it perfect for a couple or a family as both can enjoy a break in the dales. We offer Craggley with a minimum stay of 3 nights and any day check in but in peak periods this changes to 7 night minimum with check in on a Friday - Please just ask if you need any help or have any questions The property is rented on a sole use basis, you will not be sharing the property with anyone else. We are available via phone and email to help ensure you have the best stay possible and the key to the property will be provided via a key box. There is a local contact should you need any assistance West Burton is considered to be one of the most beautiful villages in the Yorkshire Dales National Park with a large village green and no through road. Children can play safely on the Green using the play park of football goals while parents watch on from a number of seats or even from the seating outside the pub. Also, within the village is the West Burton Cauldron Falls one of the waterfalls drawn by Turner during his tour of the North of England.
