Lissett Lodge is a stylish and well planned detached holiday property on one floor ideal for couples. There is a beautiful West facing decked and covered verandah to the rear and an East facing patio at the opposite end to catch the sunshine in the mornings making it a great spot for an al fresco breakfast. Quiet location, private, enclosed garden, dedicated parking space, second parking space available on request. BBQ. The master bedroom has a Super King sized bed with an en-suite shower room. Bedroom two has a King sized bed. Bedroom three has a single bed. There is a family bathroom. Well equipped kitchen and spacious dining and living area. Travel cot and high chair available on request. Living next door, we will happily help if needed. Otherwise guests are left to their own privacy. Sedlescombe village is approx. 1 mile away, offering a country pub, shop and restaurant. Battle is 4 miles with interesting antique shops, galleries, tea rooms and the historic Benedictine abbey, built as a result of the famous 1066 battle. Hastings old town and the beach is 6 miles away. Bodiam Castle is very nearby and the quaint Cinque Port town of Rye with its cobbled streets is around a 20 minute drive. Further along from Rye are the beautiful sandy beaches at Camber Sands. Lissett Lodge is also located between Carr Taylor and Sedlescombe Organic Vineyards with tours and guides for established wine lovers or for those who would like to learn more! You will need a car to stay at Lissett Lodge. But if you don’t wish to drive on nights out the local taxi service is efficient and good value. Along with our usual cleaning standards and additional sanitising measures in place in these difficult times we hope you will feel further reassured to know that our household will be fully COVID vaccinated by 21st April 2021.
