Rooms are south facing & overlook fields. Ideally located if attending weddings at Stone Barn 6 miles,Oxleaze Barn 5 miles, and Caswell House 7.5 miles. Easy access Oxford, Stratford & hidden village gems.Cotswold Wildlife Park is 1 mile away 1. The Stables consists of a large luxury suite with king-size bed, bedside tables, underfloor heating, dining table with two comfortable chairs and are adults only. We do not take children/infants or pets. Complimentary teas, coffee, biscuits and bottled, spring water, THERE ARE NO KITCHEN FACILITIES, but there is crockery and cutlery. There is a freesat TV, chest of drawers and blanket box. Towels and shower gel are provided in the en-suite shower room which has a heated towel rail and underfloor heating.Situated on outskirts of historic Burford and is ideally situated for easy access to Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon, Cheltenham, famous for National Hunt Racing as well as the music and jazz festivals. There are numerous hidden Cotswold village gems to discover along with walks, one of which is to the pretty Rose and Crown pub in Shilton. Convenient if attending weddings at Stone Barn Aldsworth, approximately 6 miles away or Oxleaze Barn approximately 5 miles away The Stables are situated right at the end of a no through road and have their own gated access with plenty of gravelled, private, off-road parking, along with south-facing seating areas which overlook the fields. There is storage for bicycles and wellies. It is self-check in with a key box. The Stables are ideally situated for visiting local and historical attractions such as Burford, Bourton-on-the-Water, Oxford, Blenheim Palace, the Georgian spa town of Cheltenham, along with the famous National Hunt Festival. Stratford-upon-Avon is approximately a 45 minute drive away. There are also the beautiful villages of the Slaughters and the Coln Valley to visit. A car is essential to travel around the Cotswolds as public transport is in short supply. Should you need a taxi from The Stables there are several local firms and it is advisable to book in advance, numbers can be supplied once a booking has been confirmed, the numbers are also supplied in an information pack in The Stables. If you wish to bring your own bicycles there is good storage at The Stables. A car is essential to travel around the Cotswolds. There are several taxi firms locally, details of which are in the information packs, along with sample menus of local pubs and restaurants.
