Bee-Sweet Room in a Friendly Home

Our house is cozy, but roomy with lots of light, flowers and art and most importantly friendly and positive atmosphere! After years of traveling mainly through AirBnB and couchsurfing we're excited to offer our home to travelers! Please note: You'll have Half-Bath and Roku TV in your room. However, large shower and a bathtub are just couple steps away from the room and is shared with other guests. For short-term guests we provide good quality snacks and partial breakfast items - like granola, oatmeal, organic crackers and cookies, organic coffee and tea. We have a large, beautiful deck with a sunset view, filled with flowers and sunlight in the summer and foggy mornings in the winter. You'll enjoy a friendly, yet peaceful atmosphere in our home. After decades of traveling our house reflects our journeys, many people have commented on the warm, inviting feel of the home and its unique collection. Note on Parking - Street parking only. You can unload your car in the driveway and then park on the street. There are plenty of parking spaces available. Very safe and low-key, low traffic, quiet street. Note on Driveway - Not much space to turn around so have to back out after you unload your luggage. It's a low traffic street, so no problem, but please be careful. We invite our guests to share all the common living spaces, have coffee or tea on the deck or a living room nook in the mornings or enjoy a sunset view in the evenings. I will be happy to help with suggestions around the town and answer any questions you may have:) We live in walking distance from old downtown of Sherwood with library, restaurants and a sweet coffee shop called Symposium. Also, Farmer's market is on Saturdays 8 to 12. We live not too far from a farm co-op "Our Table" where you can do your organic shopping and berry picking. We are also 3-5 minutes away from Safeway, Target, Walmart. New Seasons and Whole Foods are 10-12 minutes away. Sherwood Park is up the hill and a Nature Reserve with beautiful walking paths is about 5-7 minute-drive. Walking distance to a bus, about a mile. Pacific Hwy 5 minutes away and freeway 10-15 minutes away. - Your room has a lock and we'll be happy to provide a key with a $10 refundable cash deposit (separate from Airbnb charges). Cash deposit due at check in or when key is requested and refunded when the key is returned. Thank you:) - We have three well-behaved cats living with us, they'll mostly be in our rooms or outside, they're pretty quiet and independent, but occasionally you'll hear one asking to be let out.
