Come make yourself at home in our 5 bedroom/3 bath house in Sullivan County, Catskills. A large open floor plan on the first floor with two 9’ sofas and a table large enough to seat 12 makes this home a perfect setting for a family gathering. The kitchen and living areas have oversized picture windows so you can enjoy the outdoors even from inside or keep an eye on the kids on the large play set out back. We are pet friendly! *note: our back deck is under repair, hence the low booking price* Our home is in Sullivan County, only 8 minutes to Bethel Woods, the original site of the Woodstock festival. We are also close to Skinner’s Fall, a national park on the Delaware river where you can raft, kayak, canoe etc. Nearby towns include Narrowsburg, Callicoon and Bethel among others. You have full access to the house and yard. The master closet and basement will be locked for our personal belongings. There is a 2 bedroom cottage (Chic Country Cottage) on the property closer to the road also available for rent. We're about 10 minutes from the Delaware River (at Skinners Falls) and 10 minutes to Bethel Woods. Great concerts all summer, check out the schedule in our pics. There is an alpaca farm and a Christmas tree farm nearby. There are lots of dairy farms, farmer's markets and antique shops in the area. The cottage is about a 15 minute drive to Villa Roma which has seasonal skiing. So there are a lot of things to do if a peaceful getaway is too slow for you! You definitely need a car! Our house is home to kids and dogs, both are welcome! There is a large playset in the backyard and a lot of outlet covers which you are welcome to move to whatever room you want to use them in. The south side deck is fenced in with a doggy door which you can optionally close off. We also have kid/doggy gates in the kitchen and playroom to keep them in or out.
