This lovely cottage is well positioned to ensure enough sunshine and shaded spots, especially on the two large and partially roofed terraces. You can buy fishing permits for numerous lakes and streams in this region. You can also rent canoes and bicycles in the camping area. The way to the ice-cream kiosk in the camping area is childproof. The village Hovborg is at a walking distance and has a shop, an ATM and a cosy guest house that offers delicious dishes at reasonable price. The hiking trail across Jutland located amidst nature passes through this region. Billund, the lion park in Givskud, the go-karting track in Heijnsvig, the race track, the golf course in Holsted and Ribe, the oldest town of Denmark are less than half an hour's drive by car. The North Sea, the Esbjerg’s shopping centre and the saltwater aquarium can be reached in 45 minutes. Do visit the Historical Mini-Town of Fredericia and the largest play park of Denmark, Madsbypark (free admission). Flensburg and Odensee are about 1 ¼ hour's’ drive. Odensee has a Tivoli, a beautiful zoo and number of interesting museums.
