It has high ceilings and wooden floors, and is tastefully decorated with vintage furniture, artworks, and interesting finds from far-flung places. There is a cook's kitchen with gas stove, electric oven and ample fridge space for large parties. Kitchen opens onto a private back yard with barbecue, entertainment area, and a potager garden with herbs to complement the fresh mussels that you have picked from the rocks on the beach. Caretaker on site to assist with any requirements, and house-keeper available for cleaning, making beds etc, for a small additional charge. Quiet coastal village with little to do other than soak up the sun and the glorious surf. Beautiful long beach walks, fabulous fishing, and rock pools rich with ocean life to entertain kids. Umzumbe boasts a blue flag beach within close walking distance where life-savers are in regular attendance. Yoga class available at the Mantis & Moon which is walking distance from the house. The entire property is safely secured with fencing and an electric fence. There is safe secure parking on-site.
