Self Contained one bedroom ground floor apartment with one parking space off-road. There are 6 steps with handrail leading to your own entrance, which may not be appropriate for a frail, elderly person. Located on a busy thoroughfare in the centre of Sutton Coldfield, backing on to Wyndley lake and Sutton Park. Very convenient location to walk to shops, restaurants, Sutton park, Leisure centre, train station, cinema and other local amenities. We have lived in this Edwardian property for the past 17 years. We converted the basement (that's ground floor to the rear of the house) into a self-contained apartment. Your own private entrance access/key. One parking space off-road. The apartment contains a comfortable 17 foot by 12-foot bedroom with a double bed for 2 people. The bedroom leads into the conservatory with very heavy curtains to separate them. Clean bedding/linen/towels provided. The conservatory is 11 X 11 with double and 2 single chairs. The fully serviced kitchen is 29 foot by 9 foot, with built in kitchen unit, microwave, fridge, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle and toaster. Breakfast starter pack is provided inc. cereals, bread, milk as well as tea and coffee (instant & nespresso). There's also a washing machine, dryer and clothes horse. The shower room has toilet, shower and wash-basin. We provide toiletries shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. We also prove a hair dryer, iron and ironing board. The rear garden is well stocked and leads onto a lovely lake and Sutton Park. The lake has over 20 swans, many Canada geese, 2 Herons, lots of ducks and some grebes. Entrance if you look at the house in the picture is to the left of the house down 6 steps - own side door and entrance door. We have a locked fire door which separates the two parts of the property so you won't be disturbed. We understand privacy is important, so will respect this and the space will be yours. If any help is needed, We will be available to help out. Somerville Road is right in the heart of the Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield. Day to day amenities can be found in nearby Sutton Coldfield town centre where there is a comprehensive range of shops and restaurants within the Gracechurch shopping centre. Sutton Park is also situated at the bottom of garden, one of Europe's biggest urban parks, offering great scope for walking, golf and a variety of other outdoor pursuits. Sutton Coldfield is well placed for access to regional centres and the motorway network, Birmingham is only 9 miles distant and the M6 just 6 miles away. The NEC/Birmingham International train station and Birmingham Airport are only 8 miles away. Sutton Coldfield train station is within walking distance.
