Angus is one of a small group of cottages way out in the countryside but only 3 miles from Campbeltown. There are many beaches to explore, lots of wildlife, golf courses etc. If you like away from it all, this is for you! 'Angus' is the largest of the cottages at Kilchrist Castle Cottages and has a more spacious living space for dining, cooking and relaxing, including two large leather sofas. Fully fitted kitchen area with dishwasher, oven, microwave. Engineered wood floor with underfloor heating. A big arched window looks towards the castle across a field. A spiral stone staircase leads up to a shower room and the bedrooms - a double and a second room for three ( one single and a set of adult-sized bunks). But only 3 miles from bustling Campbeltown with all amenities. Sightings of buzzards, eagles, seals, otters and lots more possible wildlife. Car desirable or need to be fit! Directions: From Campbeltown head up Witchburn Road and turn left at Stewarton on the Southend Road. A mile along, turn left at Knocknaha (just after phone box). Follow road round past castle gates, farmhouse. Bear left and through field gate. Campbell cottage is the one at the far left hand end of the white buildings ahead of you (name plaque on door of cottage). Park in car park.
