A beautiful cosy cottage situated on a private road, opposite Burghley Park, and within walking distance to the historic market town of Stamford. Stamford provides a variety of shops, boutiques, restaurants and bars. The George Hotel and Stamford Art's Centre are both within a 10 minute walk. Burghley Park Golf course is nearby. A lovely place to stay for a relaxing break. The property boasts lots of character and charm with its original period features. Regular services run to London King's Cross via Peterborough with journey times from 1hr 11 minutes. Regular and direct services run to Oakham an approximate journey time of 13 minutes. Local bus routes are available, Abbots Close bus stop is at the end of the access road to the property. In addition to Burghley Park, there are some lovely walks along the River Welland to both the east and west.
