A small, quaint, peaceful rural accommodation in an idyllic location in Wilby Suffolk. Exclusive use of a private courtyard garden with BBQ and loungers, further private garden with log cabin and hot tub. Ideally suited to a couple wanting a romantic getaway, people wishing to escape the hurly-burly and perfect for people on a budget who want to relax & experience the humble simplicity & beauty of country life. Separate from the main house, the Shoemakers Studio is private, secluded and quiet. The Shoemakers Studio was originally the Cobblers Shop in the village and has been converted into a maximum 4 person space with a mezzanine double bed accessed via a ladder and a further double bed for sleeping in the living area. It has a fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave with cutlery, plates, bowls, dishes etc. along with a sink. We provide bread, milk, jams, cereal on arrival. It has a separate bathroom with a shower, toilet and sink. The Studio is also equipped with a TV/DVD (Freeview) and wireless access (free). The hot tub is situated in a private garden location next to the log cabin (for changing/sleeping - sofa bed) at the bottom of the garden and is easily accessible and private.Close to Framlingham, Stradbroke, Laxfield, 20 mins to Diss Railway station under an hour to Norwich and Cambridge and the beautiful Suffolk coastal locations of Southwold, Aldeburgh and Thorpeness. Guests have full access to the studio, courtyard garden and further private garden housing the log cabin and hot tub. If guests wish to use the hot tub guidance will be given verbally and also printed. It is on and available all year round. Bicycles are available on request. Guests are normally greeted on arrival, however, if this is not possible a key safe code can be requested so that guests can access the property themselves. Guests are welcome to contact us via Airbnb at anytime during their stay. This is a really peaceful, rural location ideal for walkers and cyclists or those people who just want to profit from the tranquility and explore Suffolk/Norfolk life. Public transport in Wilby is non existent so you need to be self sufficient but there are plenty of beautiful locations in quite close proximity. Bicycles are available on request. Parking here is simple as you will draw straight up to your little abode but travelling further afield requires a bike or a car due to the absence of public transport. Diss railway station is 20 mins away, the nearest Bus is in Stradbroke, approx 2.5 miles away. The Shoemakers Studio is separate from the main house and very private.The hot tub and log cabin are situated in a private garden, beyond the private studio courtyard garden, which are both gated and private. The log cabin is equipped with a sofa bed and can be made up for sleeping if requested, there is also a fridge and heater heater.
