Located next to the river the Oude Rijn, this house overlooks the river and a number of traditional little Dutch houses across from it. In summer it makes for a terrific spot to swim and lounge in the sun. In winter taking a refreshing plunge in the river after using our Finnish Sauna is highly recommended. Free coffee from fully automatic coffee machine as extra service. The vast majority of the electricity you use is generated sustainably with roof solar panels. The house / our home consists of three floors. Located on the ground floor are the living room annex kitchen, a bathroom, storage space with washing machine and dryer, and a sauna. The first floor contains a bathroom, a lounge area annex guest bedroom with tv, and a study. The master bedroom covers the entire second floor with windows on either side. Guest have acces to all areas of the house. We are easily accessible for questions. Shopping center with bakery, butcher and supermarket around the corner. 10 minutes walk from typical Dutch city center with many restaurants, terraces and other shops. Numerous sights such as a castle, Dutch windmill and cheese museum. Railway station within walking distance with direct connection to Amsterdam (30 min), Utrecht (10 min), The Hague (40 min), Leiden (30 min) and Rotterdam (35 min). Two city bikes (m / f) and one touring bike (m / f) present. Central heating, underfloor heating and separate gas fireplace in living room area. From mid-May, part of the house is air-conditioned.
