The Madame's Suite - The Shady Lady Bed & Breakfast

This was Sarah’s room, the original Madam in the (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) ’s when the building housed the Grand Central Saloon and brothel. Guests enjoy its luxurious setting with rich fabrics, sitting room, Jacuzzi tub and corner fireplace This room includes 1 King bed and a Twin size bed maximum capacity of 3. Guests enter through their private entrance and walk up the stairs to the Gathering Place with comfortable seating overlooking the Courthouse, complete with refrigerator and microwave for personal enjoyment – perfect for groups enjoying their wine after a visit to one of our local wineries. Each of the four guest rooms has a unique theme with a nod to the town’s colorful past, each with a private, luxurious bath. All rooms have flat screen tv’s, complimentary WiFi and most have fireplaces. The Emergency number is 911 and (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) The Shady Lady is a small boutique hotel located in the lovingly restored historic Grand Central Saloon building on Gainesville’s historic downtown square. In the late (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) s, the downstairs was the nicest and most “respectable” saloon in town but the upstairs boasted the real entertainment – the soiled dove's establishment purportedly run by the Madame named Sarah. Free parking is along the side on Commerce Street near the private entrance. Private entrance is near the parking. Guests will be provided a security code for the door on or before arrival. Once inside there are stairs that lead to the Shady Lady.
