The Nook

The Nook is a cosy cottage within a few minutes walking distance of Lichfield town and all amenities and attractions. We have free Virgin wifi throughout the property and on street parking right outside. For more inclement days there are chairs and a table outside on the sheltered courtyard. Both of the Lichfield stations are within very easy reach, as is the A5 and the A38 in all directions. The property has been completely renovated during the past month with a new bathroom and kitchen. Whether you are visiting Lichfield for leisure, to visit family, or for work you will find that our cottage is in an ideal location. Lichfield offers a wealth of attractions for tourists but also is an ideal location for major road and rail links to reach surrounding areas. The complete space at the Nook is for our guests sole use. However, we are always available at the end of the phone for any queries or emergencies and will do whatever we can to address and problems. Lichfield is a beautiful and ancient town. the cathedral is one of the finest in the country and the surrounding area of ancient houses all have a tale to tell. Dr Johnson and Erasmus Darwin leave a legacy in Lichfield which is asking to be explored, along with the the Old Guildhall Prison Cells. For an evening stroll there is Minster or Stowe Pool and Beacon Park. Or for a cultural evening the Garrick is hard to beat. Travel a little outside Lichfield and you will find the Heart of the Country with its Fairy Glen and selection of craft shops and cafes and also Curborough Hall Farm with a similar collection of shops and restaurants. Lichfield also makes a great base for travel into Birmingham, Stafford or Walsall. Excellent travel facilities with its 2 stations - Trent Valley and Lichfield City.
