There is no need to drive to the village it is just a five minute walk away along a tarmac path, infact by the time you find a parking space it would be quicker to walk! Wild animals such as deer, badgers, foxes and numerous rabbits can be seen regularly, we also keep our own chickens. For security reasons we lock the site gate at 2315 each night, if a guest returns after 2315 they can park outside the gate in a small car park and use our "kissing gate" to access the site by foot and walk to their lodge. We have found that guests prefer it this way so they never get disturbed by late night vehicle noise.
