Sunny private apartment in a quiet Norfolk village (with a nice pub). Convenient for Norwich, Thetford, Dereham and Swaffham, as well as Snetterton Racing, Thetford Forest Park, and lovely Norfolk countryside. Please Note: There is almost no public transport in this part of the country - you will need a car! Spacious first floor apartment overlooking the garden. The bedroom features a super-king sized bed. There is a good-sized kitchen/breakfast room and separate large sitting room. The newly refurbished bathroom includes a full-size bath and separate shower. There is parking for 1 car. We will be here to welcome guests on arrival, and then you will be welcome to come and go as you wish. After you settle in we will leave guests to their own devices, but one of us will be on hand 95% of the time. We'll be happy to share local knowledge and info. The apartment is completely self-contained. There is a section of the garden which can be reserved for guests use. Lovely village, picturesque village green, great pub. Thetford Forest is nearby for walks (more great pubs) and cycling. Outdoor concerts at High Lodge in the summer. Fantastic shopping, food & history in Norwich. Pretty Wymondham is great for a browse too. Caston is a 'Pride in Norfolk' Best Village 2013 Winner. We've got a great pub and restaurant in the village, and there are at least another 3 within a 10 minute drive. Thetford Forest is 10 minutes away, Norwich is approx 25mins depending on traffic. We are within easy reach of; Attleborough, Watton, Wymondham, Thetford, Swaffham and Dereham as well as the air bases at Mildenhall and Lakenheath. The coast is an hour+ drive away, and the Norfolk Broads three quarters of an hour. We are close to the Peddars Way, and to several sites of specific interest.
