It's designed around 2 guests, but can accommodate up to 4, providing 2 further pop up beds at a small additional charge. The cottage is detached, guests have exclusive use of the whole building, with dedicated private off road parking, it offers comfortable open plan living space and provides modern facilities to prepare and eat meals within a character filled residence. We can provide 2 further beds at a small additional cost. The owners live in the adjacent property and will be on hand to welcome and show you round the cottage if required on arrival. We can offer guidance on local places of interest, walks and entertainment, where to eat out etc. Huddersfield expanded rapidly in the Victorian era around the high quality cloth manufacturing, this brought with it a wealth of architectural treasures that can still be seen within the town centre and surrounding areas today. You can sample a great range of restaurants with flavours from around the world. The Pennine Moors, Peak District and Yorkshire Dales are all only a short distance away. There are good links to both the M1 and M62 providing easy access around the north of the country with the nearby railway station giving direct links to the cities of Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, York and beyond. Frequent buses are available taking you into the Town Centre in just a few minutes or you can walk there in around 15 minutes. Located within a well established area close to the historic Greenhead Park, Holt Bank provides a great base to explore the region with easy access to the motorways and rail links. Guests are able to prepare there own meals in the well equipped kitchen or sample the wide variety of quality cafes and restaurants close by.
