It's truly a unique with a cottage feel but with large rooms and modern appliances. The property is used as a luxury residential health retreat centre (see The Milestone Detox) and as an AirBnB venue. The orangery is stunning with an incredible home cinema (DVDs available) and grand piano. We do ask that you manage noise levels after 10.30pm so as not to disturb the neighbours. The kitchen table seats 6 but there is ample outside seating for 10+ off the kitchen during summer months. The dining room table seats 8 comfortably and with the extension seats 12 (PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN 12 YOU MAY NOT ALL BE SEATED IN THE DINING ROOM AT ONE TIME). If you require additional chairs in the dining room, there are 18 Habitat folding chairs stored in the Orangery cupboard to the left of the fireplace. There is also a trestle table available). There is an antique well in the corner of the Dining Room with a thick toughened glass cover, a common character feature of historic Cotswold homes. In the main house (sleeps 11) there are 4 double bedrooms 2 with en suites, two bedrooms can be twins plus a single folding bed if required. There is also a sofa bed downstairs if needed. The annexe (sleeps 5) is included for groups 11 or more (excluding infants). It is not included for smaller groups (less than 11) unless an upgrade fee of £150 per night is paid. In the annexe there are two twin bedrooms upstairs and a single bed/private space behind a curtain downstairs. If you would like to use the 2 person infrared sauna it will be £150 extra. We can also offer an early checkin and late checkout 8 hour extension for £20 per person subject to availability. We welcome all types of groups and particularly family and friend reunions, and corporate teams wanting a special intimate space for a 2 or 3 days. PLEASE NOTE the base price is for up to 8 people. Additional people will incur additional fees, so please enter the correct number of people on your booking form to see the correct price. If you have any questions please ask. This is a dog friendly space but we require that you ask before bringing dogs and charge £20 per dog per stay. We have lock boxes for the keys and electronic oak gates. We will send you the codes before you arrive. There is car parking behind our gates. Additional parking available in local car parks. We are available by phone if needed. My family of 2-4 may be staying in the annexe and or log cabin in a private area on the property. Our town of Winchcombe is fast becoming known as the walkers hub of the Cotswolds, the Wincombe Way comprises of a figure of eight with Winchcobme at the centre. Each loop is 21 miles around but these are subdivided into 3-5 mile sections all beautifully described in the Winchcombe Way booklet available in the town. You will love the local shops, pubs, restaurants, and Sudeley Castle, the last home of Catherine Parr the surviving wife of Henry VIII. Winchcombe town centre is 15-20 mins walk away. There is a bus stop opposite our home that will take you to Cheltenham Spa, Broadway or Evesham. Ride on the GWR steam railway from Winchcombe Station just across the bridge from the house. Please note we do not rent to groups in their 20's and do not allow parties. The home cinema, including SKY SPORTS is only usable after dark and before 10pm because of the glass roof. There is a 42" TV and DVD/Bluray player in the snug. One of the bedrooms also has a TV/DVD available and another bedroom has a TV. Please only book if you and your group are committed to the house rules. It's important that the place is left tidy and on time because we are likely to have another large group arriving at 3pm on your day of departure.
