HUDSON HOUSE

We are well placed just off the motorway and 8 miles from Historic Durham City. Coxhoe has lot to offer from award-winning butcher's, florist, dog friendly pub, brilliant local gift shops, choice of cafes, 4 take aways, 3 local stores with cash machines, amazing sweet shop, park with BMX / Skate park, Leisure Centre all within 5 minutes walk. Nearby there is also a local airfield and gun club Hudson House it's like staying in a boutique hotel it was so beautiful and comfortable. The bathrooms in particular were to die for, I've never known the kids so keen to have a shower! The owners had thought of everything to make our stay perfect and the extra touches and goodies left for us were above and beyond what was expected and very much appreciated. Hudson House was ideally located for exploring County Durham and Coxhoe itself was well equipped with restaurants, shops and take-aways. We would definitely recommend staying here and will be back when we return to the area for another break.   You have the whole house We have a key safe for guests as we know it's hard to pin down a time to meet. We live on the same street and are always on call if you need us Coxhoe is a small village with lot of amenities within a 5 minute walk. We have a local bus stop within 200 yards where you can catch a buss to visit Historic Durham City and Cathedral and also Newcastle City Centre. You can stay for one night or weeks it's up to you.
