Spacious and cosy 4-bedrooms house in quiet neighborhood, 20 KM south from Amsterdam. Transport with car: From Schiphol airport: 18KM, 20mins drive To Amsterdam central station: 22km, 45mins drive With Bus: From Schiphol airport: Bus 342, get off at Uithoorn Busstation, then walk 1.4KM to the house, in total it takes around 40mins. To Amsterdam: The metro line to Amsterdam is under construction for 2 years, not recommended. You have to transfer 2 times and takes more than 70mins. Dear guest, We are Sue and Frank, running own business in the Netherlands. We are both open minded and hospitable. The house is welcome for guests from different countries with various culture. We enjoy meeting people, sharing knowledge, experience and tips. The house The house has two floors. On the groundfloor , there is a large living room with dining area facing to the backyard, a bright kitchen and a toilet with shower. On the 1st floor there are 4 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with shower and toilet. Bedroom 1 with a double bed (1.6m) for 2 people, Bedroom 2 with 2 single beds. Bedroom 3 with a double bed (1.6m) for 2 people and a single bed for 8th person if needed. Bedroom 4 with a sofabed of 1.4meter. The house sleeps 8 guests in total. From Schiphol airport: 18KM, 20mins drive, UBER cost 35 EURO/4 passengers car To Amsterdam central station: 22km, 45mins drive, To Amsterdam Museumplein 17KM, 30mins drive 17 mins, UBER cost 55 EURO/4 passengers car With Bus: To Amsterdam museumplein, 1st step: Bus 130 for 2 stops to Uithoorn Busstaion(or walking 1.4km). 2nd step: Bus 347 directly arrives at Museumplein within 50mins. And you can change tram there to arrive at Amsterdam Central Station.Therefore it takes around 70mins to Amsterdam central station from the house. If you travel with bus to Amsterdam and cities nearby, then it's better to buy the Amsterdam & Region travel ticket, it will save the travel cost. The town locates at 20km south of Amsterdam, near the Amstel River, it's a beautiful and quiet town. It is near Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. Special remarks need to be mentioned: There is a staircase in the house as shown in the photo, to guests who have leg problems will be difficult. We have a 1.4meter sofabed in the living room, that maybe a solution for not going upstairs. The neighbourgood is very quiet with friendly neighbours, and it has one way traffic with 30km/speed limit. The house is not allowed for having parties with loud music.
