The Farrow has and always will be cleaned to a high standard with disinfectant to all hard surfaces after cleaning. All floors, surfaces, sinks and the bathroom /toilet are washed and sanitised between all guests. All bedding and linen is washed at 60 degrees with a laundry disinfectant in the final rinse. To reduce the risk of infection we have removed as many soft furnishings as we can, like cushions, dressings for bed, soft mats, runners etc. We have also removed pamphlets about the area and our selection of books. As these cannot be cleaned between guests adequately. (It doesn’t look, as cosy but is better for your safety.) We will leave a folder with basic information in the cottage, as it has wipeable sleeves. We will leave the throws and arm covers on the sofas as these can be washed between guests. All the soft furnishings like; curtains, lampshades, rugs, sofas, mattress, pillows etc. that cannot be washed are sprayed with a disinfectant between guests. This will also include all the hard surfaces, remote controls, light switches, door handles etc. All bed linen, including mattress and pillow protectors, towels, bath mat, oven gloves t -towels etc. are washed at 60 degrees and a laundry disinfectant is put in the final rinse. We hope this is reassuring to you all. The Barn sits is a secure courtyard protected by security cameras on either side on the outside of the building . It is accessed via electric gates, the Barn is all yours, with your own front door, away from the main house. There are just two steps to access the front door, the rest is all on one level. We live in another converted barn within the same grounds so we are on hand should you need any help.
